Honors Programs
Looking to take your scholarship to a higher level and enrich your GCU experience? Then look into our university or department honors programs. You’ll collaborate with faculty known for excellence as teaching scholars and join a community of high-octane learners. Contribute to knowledge in your field by joining your professors in important research from examining invasive plant species and dune erosion along the Jersey Shore to studying the use of Narcan to fight the opioid crisis. As a student researcher, you’ll learn—and do—a lot, broaden your point of view, and step outside your comfort zone as you prepare for life after GCU.
Faculty
Their goal? Your success.
No one is more front line with students than our faculty, and their commitment to your growth and success is unwavering. With an average class size of 13, your professor will know your name. Your story. Your gifts. They are part of the GCU community of diverse learners—students, faculty, and staff—who support you on your collegiate journey. And often beyond. Since all classes are taught by faculty and never by teaching assistants, and over 97% of our full-time faculty hold a Ph.D. or highest achievable degree in their field, you can rest assured that a GCU education is a quality education.

Academic Support
Many college students need extra support at some point during their college years. We’ve got you covered. GCU’s Academic Development and Support Center provides specialized services so you can keep progressing. These include peer tutoring, disability services, and a support program for students whose learning differences impact their academic performance.

And through a partnership with Rowan College of South Jersey, you can earn your bachelor’s degree in social work (B.S.W.) from GCU on RCSJ’s Cumberland Campus.
Accreditations
Georgian Court is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. We’re also licensed by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education. In January 2020, GCU received certification that it effectively meets the conditions for continuing sponsorship within the Conference for Mercy Higher Education.
