Georgian Court Univeristy
Transfer and thrive.
Transfer to GCU
Top rated for transfer friendliness.
GCU has been consistently named to the Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll which means it’s one of just 123 colleges or universities recognized nationally as “transfer friendly” because it provides a supportive, smooth transition, and proven outcomes.
To apply, all you need are your college transcripts and a completed Common App. You’ll hear from us in two to four weeks. Our transfer student admissions counselors, Dan and Tracy, can help with transferring coursework, securing a GCU scholarship, meeting faculty in your major, and developing a pathway to complete your degree as quickly as possible. I chose GCU for the care and concern that the entire campus community has for the students here. I was not only prepared for each semester, but I was constantly prepared for the real world and life after graduation.

Great news. You can afford it.
What good is a college education if you’re still paying for it decades later? At Georgian Court, a life-altering college experience and affordability go hand in hand.
Transfer students can receive up to $16,500 in scholarships annually depending on GPA. And since we accept 75-90 credits—far more than most universities—your cost to graduate is less, too. According to the national College Scorecard, GCU compares favorably in annual cost with private and public universities our enrolled students also applied to. In many cases, it’s even less. GCU is acknowledged for its value and social mobility by Money magazine, U.S. News & World Report, and the New York Times.
A transformative education expands possibility.
At GCU, you’ll explore diverse perspectives. Discuss and debate. Question the status quo. Think innovatively. Learn and grow thanks to an education rooted in the liberal arts that is holistic and experiential.
In fact, all students complete two experiential learning commitments as a requirement to graduate such as internships, clinicals, research, and service learning. Mentoring and networking opportunities build additional skills and provide avenues to future employment.
While GCU offers 37 undergraduate majors, the following five are most popular with transfer students: nursing, psychology, business administration, education, and social work.
As a future physician, being able to time manage and juggle multiple responsibilities at once is paramount to success. At GCU, this important life skill had been instilled upon me on day one.
