Transfer to GCU
Top rated for transfer friendliness.
GCU has been consistently named to the Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll which means it’s one of just 171 colleges or universities recognized nationally as “transfer friendly” because it provides a supportive, smooth transition, and proven outcomes.
To apply, all you need are your college transcripts and a completed Common App. You’ll hear from us in two to four weeks. The professors go out of their way to help and are very concerned with student success. You’re not just another student. When I was transferring here, it felt too good to be true, but GCU worked out so well for me.

College costs
Great news. You can afford it.
What good is a college education if you’re still paying for it decades later? At Georgian Court, a life-altering college experience and affordability go hand in hand.
Transfer students can receive up to $16,500 in scholarships annually depending on GPA. And since we accept 75-90 credits—far more than most universities—your cost to graduate is less, too. According to the national College Scorecard, GCU compares favorably in annual cost with private and public universities our enrolled students also applied to. In many cases, it’s even less. GCU is acknowledged for its value and social mobility by Money magazine, U.S. News & World Report, and the New York Times.

A transformative education expands possibility.
At GCU, you’ll explore diverse perspectives. Discuss and debate. Question the status quo. Think innovatively. Learn and grow thanks to an education rooted in the liberal arts that is holistic and experiential.
In fact, all students complete two experiential learning commitments as a requirement to graduate such as internships, clinicals, research, and service learning. Mentoring and networking opportunities build additional skills and provide avenues to future employment.
While GCU offers 37 undergraduate majors, the following five are most popular with transfer students: nursing, psychology, business administration, education, and social work.
