Transfer Students
We love our transfer students and welcome hundreds to our campus community each year. GCU is known as one of the most “transfer-friendly” universities in New Jersey, one reason why we’ve been named to Phi Theta Kappa’s Transfer Honor Roll many times. No matter where your college journey started, we’ll work with you to determine how many credits will transfer and develop an academic path forward with the goal of completing your degree as soon as possible. Here’s what you need to apply:
Submit:
- A Common Application
- Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges/universities

Veterans
We appreciate and welcome U.S. veterans, and encourage you to apply. We assist veterans, dependents of veterans, reservists, and U.S. Guardsmen/women with the application and certification process. Be sure to check out the benefits at va.gov for tuition, housing, and books you may be eligible for at GCU as a full-time, degree-seeking student.

International Students
As a community of scholars valuing students of all ethnicities, faiths, and socioeconomic backgrounds, we welcome students from across the world. Our small class sizes (average 12 students per class) and committed faculty make GCU an ideal university for students who need a supportive learning environment to progress academically in a language other than their own.
